Asrif Banasuru Hands over the Mangkasara' Molulo Certificate of Appreciation to the Mokole of the Konawe Kingdom

KENDARI , INDONESIA– Chairman of the Konawe Mekongga Customary Community Forum (FORMAKOM) and Advisory Board Member of the Anoa Earth Youth Movement of Southeast Sulawesi (AMBA SULTRA INDONESIA), Anakia Pu'uwonua Asrif Banasuru, directly presented the Certificate of Appreciation for the MANGKASARA' MOLULO Event to the General Chairman of the Tolaki Customary Council (LAT), who is also the Mokole (King) of the Konawe Kingdom, PYM Dr. H. Lukman Abunawas, S.H., M.Si., M.H.

The Mangkasara' Molulo event, successfully held at the Losari Beach Pavilion in Makassar City on August 29, 2026, was part of a Cultural Collaboration Work Program initiated by AMBA SULTRA INDONESIA. This strategic program was realized through cross-institutional cooperation involving the Customary Council of the Gowa Kingdom, cultural organizations from ASEAN countries under the International Nusantara Cultural Forum (INCAF) representing Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei Darussalam and the Indonesian Customary Council (MAI).

The event featured a unique performance blending the signature Molulo Dance of the Tolaki tribe from Southeast Sulawesi with the rich cultural arts of the Mangkasara' people from South Sulawesi. Asrif Banasuru emphasized that uniting these two great traditions was designed to strengthen cultural ties and regional brotherhood across Sulawesi Island.

Through this cross-border and cross-regional collaboration, the organizers hope that Mangkasara' Molulo will serve as a strong platform for friendship and a shared path toward promoting and elevating Sulawesi's rich cultural heritage onto the national and international stages.
